A filling is a material that is placed into an area of decay (a cavity) that has been repaired. The filling restores the defect left from the tooth decay, making the tooth whole again. This is a good choice for fillings that are exposed to moderate chewing pressures when chewing. This natural-looking filling can be used on front or back teeth.
